Jazzy Jeff was more proud of having written the Statute of Virginia for Religious Freedom than he even was of being our third president or being so popular with the ebony honeys, which means that people like Sniffy/Newt/Krauthammer etc demanding we sacrifice the first amendment in order to whip up hatred and fear in the name of pretending to be sensitive to people's feelings therein forfeit their own right to roll out their one Jefferson quote they've memorized to throw chum to the sharks, "The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants." Seems only fair.
