2010 is a curious year for me since already 3 Marah songs (Valley Farm Song, Life is a Problem, Within the Spirit Sagging) one New Pornographers song (Sweet Talk) and of course my Ok Go slice (This Too Shall Pass) are already lined up like planes on a tarmac to be considered for "Song of the Decade," which is incredible to me since I make a policy of not listening to songs made after 1985. This is, of course, the opposite of the Aughts, when Hope You Had Fun being released rendered all other music of the decade (century?) obsolete. Honestly, after hearing Dave and I cutting heads on this one, I really don't understand why other people continue to try to play the guitar.
