Burning Books is Cool.

There is nothing about the whole "Nutjob burning Korans" storyline that isn't absurd or just fucking stupid. For one thing, the fact that Petraeus even heard about some guy in Jacksonville with a congregation of 50 people doing anything is absurd to me, and his being such a fucking idiot to give it credibility by speaking out on it is just fucking stupid. All Petraeus being a jackass plus the media responding to our national demand to act like a schoolgirl when a spider walks into a room has done is explode the "story" so much that now every Tom, Dick and Douchebag who wants attention and $$$ needs to do is something in the name of hating Islam, and off we go. Brilliant.

And I've noticed now that it's somehow to be generally accepted as fact that his burning the Koran will now put the troops "in harm's way."

What?

I don't think Pastor Douchey was the one that sent the troops overseas. Bush and Barry did. Thanks to the media overreaction sure, maybe there will be some heat in the Middle East over it, but to act like they're really in a propaganda shortage over there for reasons to whip up anger about America is laughable. A young terrorist probably heard this shit on CNN and was like "really? Now I gotta get enraged about this too? I already have enough anti-American shit on my plate, who's got the energy for this - I'm already about four American dumbshit things behind already!!!"

Shut the fuck up and let this jerkoff burn his books if he wants. And if it will make you feel any better, go down to Jacksonville and for every Koran he burns, burn a fuicking Bible, therein canceling out any effect the burnt Koran would have. Ta-DA!

For chrissake. Enough already. Other the fact that this guy looks suspiciously like Captain Sully, who gives a shit?
