The descent of American politics into an open cockfight of a reality show in which we are all rooting for the craziest participant to come back week after week is a reveal into the American mindset that has no interest in who's fixing the potholes in the street, since we're all assuming that at any minute we'll be the ones escorted around on helicopters anyway.
