Makes No Sense at All

It's hard to explain to people who don't watch their team play every single day the idea that nothing about baseball makes even the remotest of sense. For instance, the Yankees have had a habit this year of slapping around team's aces only to turn arund the next day and be completely shut down by some kid making his first start in the major leagues ever.

Another "what the..." thing is happening right now:
The Yankees ability to win without Alex Rodriguez remains one of the most baffling stats of the season. They’d won eight in a row without him, and now that he’s back, they’ve lost two straight.

And he’s been their best hitter in both games.
