A few months ago HERE I mentioned the plans for a concert to celebrate the late Kirsty MacColl, and that concert was last night. Heeeeeeeeeeey, what do you know, Shane McGowan, whose Fairytale of New York would certainly have been THE highlight, was "taken by illness" and could not perform.
