The whole "Now Republicans are gonna be held accountable and will started getting blamed for shit!" mantra makes us all feel warm and fuzzy, but it also means that when the economy DOES recover the GOP gets to take credit for it, partly because they'll have started enacting some of the very policies and bills they had steadfastedly blocked for so long which helped make the economy stall in the first place. Boom! Politics.
