Fucking Rush Limbaugh

Rick Perlstein HERE marvels at the fact that not only were the American people so easily convinced that Obama raised their taxes when the opposite was true, but how easily The White House let it happen.
When one side breaks the social contract, and the other side makes a virtue of never calling them out on it, the liar always wins. When it becomes "uncivil" to call out liars, lying becomes free. The White House allowed it to happen.
Perlstein blames Limbaugh, but the truth to me seems to be that people believe what they wanna believe. If you like Obama you see this issue and are furious that people were so easily misled. If you don't like Obama, even when presented with this as fact you just dismiss it and insist that he raised taxes and probably ate your family dog.
