Spending BS

A few years ago I wrote about "government spending:

I feel any "outrage!" over government spending in general is fairly hypocritical. "Over-spending" loosely translates to "not spending money on shit I want." With their daddy/small dick issues there is no amount of money you can get a right-winger to admit is too much for Defense, and the same goes for liberals when it comes to bunnies/rainbows/tree-hugging etc. But to act like you're against government spending as a philosophy or cause you know what's best for the country is bullshit.

And since Matt Yglesias went to Harvard and I went to The Harvard on the Appomattox, it's hardly a surprise that in a post of his today he agrees with me.
