Ken Lassen, son of Louis' Lunch founder Louis Lassen and proprietor of Louis' Lunch for 65 years, died last Tuesday at age 93. Louis Lunch in New Haven, Connecticut, is known as the "birthplace of the hamburger" and has been serving their famous broiled burgers on toast since 1900.I guess I should feel bad for dissing his famous burger.
But then, fuck it - he got to makes a shit-ton of $crillah making cheeseburgers for 65 years, so what the fuck do I care if he lives, dies, or grows shrooms out of his crack?*
