Semi-Creepy

I remember that the day Herb Brooks died, Do You Believe In Miracles? was on HBO later on that night.  But it wasn't a tribute, an audible on the network's part - it had already been scheduled to run, which it happened to do on the same day Brooks died. Which I thought was a little creepy.

And this morning I wondered if Ricky Vaughn from Major League was based on Ryan Duren, who just died Thursday.  And guess what's on Comedy Central right now? Yeesh. Not as creepy cause it's not the same day, but that shit's been programmed for weeks, and of course it gives me an excuse to re-post Bob Uecker  :)
