Sometimes I worry that as a country we've forgotten how monstrous of a song Bootylicious was. I mean, for fuck's sake, do you remember going longer than 7 seconds without hearing that goddam song all summer? Christ. It was a different time - pre-9/11, and it's wasn't "Beyoncé," it was "Destiny's Child," ie "Beyoncé and...some other people." How has it been 10 years? Fucking hell.
