Schlomo Sniffberg apparently wasn't allowed in Bethlehem, where people liked Baby Jesus BEFORE it was cool:

IDF officials refused to explain why Palin backtracked and did not enter Bethlehem, however Defense Ministry officials claim the US politician neglected to submit a formal request to tour the West Bank, despite it being standard procedure for any foreign dignitary.

All "Sniffy's an idiot" jokes aside, what exactly does it take for one to be labeled a "dignitary"?   Her official job title is "part-time Fox contributor/Mama Grizzly," which isn't exactly Secretary of State, no?  Am I a dignitary?  Where can I get that costume for Halloween? (sexy stripper dignitary, for the ladies of course)
