It's 10:42pm, and I just heard there was a "handshake deal," and the government will not shut down. This shit pisses me off. You've waited until allllllllllllllll this time, weeks, days, until 10:42pm, and then you agree on shit and announce it? What the fuck? Can't you do the right thing, and wait till 11:59pm? I mean, for fuck's sake, have some showmanship. Fucking christ. Once the deal is made and there's time left and it's all sewn up anyways, have some fun - do the ol' "If Boehner can throw this balled up piece of paper into the trash can from 20 feet away, no shutdown!" Have a countdown with "10...9...8...7...6...5...4...3...2...oooh! handshake!!!! WOW that was close!!!!" Then play One Shining Moment, give us something to tell the grandkids.
