Not in My House, Sir!

A State Senator in Michigan wants foster kids to only be allowed to buy clothes from second hand stores:
Under his plan, foster children would receive gift cards that could only be used at places like the Salvation Army, Goodwill and other second hand clothing stores.
That sound you hear is the collective outrage of the trust-fund hipsters in my neighborhood, worried that if New York tries the same thing all the foster kids would buy up all the clothes and they'd have nowhere to ironically shop.  That would make me sad  :(
