iCongress

I do think this is a good time to wonder about the notion that a Senator infirmed in his home while under his own national healthcare cannot cast a vote on national healthcare simply because he is not physically present in the Senate. Whack. - XMASTIME

The whole "the Congressman has to physically be there to vote" nonsense in this day and age of being so easily connected no matter how remote has always driven me crazy, especially now that the president doesn't actually hafta be there to sign a bill into law:
Where in the world is President Obama? Turns out it doesn’t matter.
For the first time in United States history, a bill has been signed into law by a mechanical autopen, which affixed the president’s signature at the direction of Mr. Obama, who is in Europe.
