List du Jour

The 20 Best Movie Closing Songs.

You know I loves me some Jesus and Mary Chain, but how can Just Like Honey be ahead of Don't You Forget about Me on such a list?  Does anybody remember it being at the end of Lost in Translation? Everyone talks about her whispering to Bill Murray; nobody ever mentions anything else.  Meanwhile, DYFAM is not only iconic as an 80's hit song, but as the closing song of a movie.  Unlike Just Like Honey and Lost in Translation, you can never separate the two.

Also, how the hell can Keep On Loving You from The Last American Virgin not be on there?  Grrr. Heartbreaking!

A million years ago a buddy and me were writing a movie about our "summer of hell;" while it never got written (yet), we did know the movie would end to Idle's June as we parted for college.  Sniff sniff.  And no, were weren't fagz.
