But the latest from Bud Selig re: expanding the playoffs takes the fucking cake (until the next thing he comes up with.)
"We only have eight of 30 teams (making the postseason), that's the least number in sports," Selig said in response to an email question about postseason expansion during a town hall meeting ahead of Tuesday's All-Star Game.Hey dumbass - the reason is BASEBALL PLAYS AT LEAST TWICE AS MANY GAMES AS ANY OTHER SPORT!!!! If after a sample size of 162 games and 6 months you're not absolutely sure who deserves to be in the playoffs, you're a fucking retard. After 162 games, having some chucklehead team bumbling into the playoffs to play spoiler because you wanna make more $$$ only cheapens your fucking sport.
Hey, at least be honest: "we wanna make more fucking money." That's why the whole All-Star charade's for too. Fuck you.

Totally agree w/you, X. It would be cool to give more teams a chance but if it means a team w/ a losing record--like I hear it recently happened in the NFL--or whatever getting into the playoffs, fuck no.
