Service

Only a few days after an episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm wherein Larry gets in trouble for walking up to the kitchen and getting his own food at a fancy restaurant, HERE'S AN ARTICLE with a coupla hi-falutin' chefs musing about the decline in service at restaurants.  I live in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, ie ground zero for the lazy, too-cool-to-bother-with-you hipster service.  At this point, unlike with bagging groceries or directing traffic, I'm happy to cut out this usually worthless middleman I gotta give 20% to anyway.  And I appreciate that one of the chefs being fed up with the loud music they for some reason feel the need to pump through the room now.  The shit's bad enough at bars, but for fuck's sake.
