People are rushing to pat FOX News' Megyn Kelly on the back for rightfully schooling some douchebag for claiming that maternity is a racket.  It's nice to hear Kelly do so, but of course she works for an organization that spends a great deal of time and money demanding that such a thing as maternity leave is "socialist" or "fascist" and is a drain on an economy built by noble patriots pulling themselves up by the bootstraps and refusing help.  I wonder if Kelly would be so defiant if they were talking about some black woman who works in a factory in Gary, Indiana.  I'm "guessing" such a woman would be scorned by Kelly as a welfare queen grabbing handouts from Uncle Sam, but of course when it comes to herself, she's a big fan of getting a few months to let her Golden Palace of the Himalayas recover after another human has been pulled out of it.  As we've discussed before HERE and HERE, among other times, Republicans have great disdain for any government program that helps people until the very moment they need it themselves, and ONLY then.
