With barely enough time between each instance to catch one's breath, the GOP has been applauded both for killing people and for claiming the uninsured should be left for dead, and now have voted down a bill to provide emergency relief to victims of natural disasters. Oh yeah, and they're miffed at the idea that first responders at Ground Zero should get free cable tv as they painfully wait to die 10 years later for their efforts on 9/11.
The state of the GOP being what it is now means all this is hardly noteworthy, but merely a reminder that while Republicans claim to love America, they sure don't seem to give a fuck about Americans.
