The Yankees have outscored the Tigers 26-14 after four games, and yet might lose the series, reminiscent of 1960 when they thumped the Pirates 55-27 but lost Game 7. They've scored 6.5 runs a game with Mark Texiera doing NOTHING and A-Rod having only 2 hits (though some productive outs and pickin it like Brooks Robinson at third.)
Tex might be the worst post-season player ever, which we don't hear peep about because everybody's desperate to be able to lay the moniker back on A-Rod, despite him single-handedly winning a World Series only 2 years ago and never having been near the no-show Tex has been in the first place.
