How We Read Etc.

I felt like an idiot when this happened:

I'm reminded of a few days ago when I came upon something in a book I was reading, and literally stared at the sentence for a few seconds wondering how I could link from it to a more expansive discussion on the subject, as if I was looking at a computer and not a dead piece of paper. Whack.

Turns out I'm just a generation ahead of myself.  Hmm.
