Penn State

My first year of varsity football followed Penn State's big upset against Miami; that year our coach demanded we be like Penn State and play with black shoes, "because they'll make us deceptively slower!"  Of course after about 2 seconds we reminded him that we'd already bought our shoes from Pic 'n Pay ("you pick 'em, yo mama pay for 'em!!") and he could remove "deceptively" from the equation. Ergo, it was a miracle we won three games.  Hey, we're only human!
