Flu-zy

As yall already know I've long mused about the curious amnesia about the Spanish Flu and am recently in WWI hysteria; now that I can drop Downton Abbey into the mix, I'm a pig in shit. THIS AWESOME SITE HERE has a nice little wrap-up of the characters hit by it in Sunday's episode, along with this incredible fact:

In the US, twenty five percent of the population was afflicted by the flu. More remarkably, in only one year the average life expectancy in the U.S. dropped by 12%.
