Moment du Jour

Earlier today I was walking around the park and as I was passing a mini-van I saw a little black girl, maybe 3 years old, lean out the window to wave to me and say hi, which I happily returned. A few steps further a man who was obviously her father walking back to the van shouted out "________, don't be saying hello to white boys." His wink and my busting out laughing was the best moment of the day.
