A few weeks ago HERE I reviewed the pilot episode of the bloody awful sitcom Bent; incredibly, it has gotten even worse. It's now one of those shows I HAVE to watch just to confirm "oh my god, it really IS that bad." Incredible. Here's every scene in the show:
The crew is goofing around when they're supposed to be working. Amanda Peete walks in and looks pissed, asking "have you done any work at all?" To which the lead gives a variation of "I'll be honest: no." Which you'd think would be a fireable offense - she's paying this guy thousands of dollars to day a 2-day job thats been stretch out for two months already. But of course she doesn't, thanks to him immediately following with some sexual come-on, to which Amanda Peete rolls her eyes "as if!" before scampering over to her sister bitching how whatshisface "drives me so crazy!" which GEE, nobody can figure out what THAT means in tv world. Cue Jeffrey Tambor popping in with something "whacky!" and then rinse, lather, repeat. Fucking hell. But of course I'm hooked thanks to the incredible realization that a show this fucking terrible can actually air on major network tv.
