The Curse

RFK Jr's estranged wife has committed suicide, which the media is of course using to roll out the old "Kennedy Curse" trope. To me, as tragic as it is, this doesn't fall under the same guise as being part of any kind of "curse" - as far as we can tell, none of the other "cursed" players (plane crash/plane crash/lobotomy/assassination/assassination/drug overdose/skiing into a tree/plane crash) were suicides. I'm not saying her choosing to kill herself is any less of a tragedy, but a curse connotes an outside force at play, which wasn't the case here (as per the actual death itself, that is.)
