Oh, For Fuck's Sake

When I was in college, some stupid fucking rule was created for which at a fraternity party we had to have food and a non-alcoholic beverage available, so for about three years we laid out the same bag of chips and dusty 2-liter bottle of Pepsi at every party (I can still remember the outrage when some mf started to try and actually open the bag. It was, in a sense, our Vietnam.) This is what comes to mind when I think about Keenan Thompson being on Saturday Night Live for what is now going on ten years. SNL is pretty blatant about keeping a token black member in the cast at all times, but is too lazy to take ten minutes to find one of the approximately 78,000,000 black people that are funnier than Thompson, who has made me laugh exactly zero times in the last decade; and so, like our old bag of chips and Pepsi, they simply dust him off each week and throw him out there. Pathetic.
