Dream Team Doc Addendum Request

I understand that he was pretty much an afterthought, but I'd really love to get more of Christian Laettner's thoughts re: being the only college kid on a team  full of legendary, all-time Hall of Fame players. Did he wander around the whole time in a fog, scared shitless? Did any of the players embrace his presence, take him under his wing? Did he really feel a part of it, or did he feel left out during all the trash-talking etc?

Side note: what would have happened if Shaq had beaten Laettner out for that spot?
