Other than Matthew Weiner seeming to be straining to make a point by having Pete get into a fistfight with anyone who walked onscreen throughout the season, I have no real opinion on the season finale right now other than it seems like just yesterday that the season finally began after an interminable wait, and it'll prolly be about another thousand fucking years before the next one starts. Of course, don't even get me started on the decade-long waits between
Curb Your Enthusiasm seasons, a curious thing at best since each episode is a staunchly formulaic improv.
