There's something funny about the idea that somehow 68% of the people blame Bush for the economy. If you ask people what's the most important thing about the upcoming election, pretty much 100% will say the economy. So you'd think those 68% who blame Bush would vote AGAINST the continuation of his economic policies via Mitt Romney. And yet come election time, it's almost a sure thing that the winner, whoever it is, will hover around the 51-53% mark. So people in these polls are either
1) lying
or
2) will vote against what they think is right purely on ideological terms.
