The sound of Siri being opened on iPhones causes him to go into a rage-filled flashback. A wise-old-sage character then appears to tell hime the parable of the man stuck at a Giuliani fundraiser.
In the end, Emily Mortimer helps him to a support group meeting people by Tom Brokaw, Dan Rather, and a folding chair with an ashtray holding a lit cigarette as a proxy for Peter Jennings.
