The Connecticut Tragedy

At some point, "sane, moderate" gun owners are gonna hafta admit that their having the right to own a gun for hunting or home defense doesn't mean they should also have the right to own a small stockpile of weapons that can fire hundreds of bullets per minute. We all agree that people should be able to drive cars, but none of us is insisting that we should be able to drive 300mph, are we?
