During the "good night" segment at the end of each
Waltons episode, everybody speaks with their normal speaking voice. It's not like they were yelling at the top of their lungs across the house. So how were Ma and Pa Walton ever able to do it since everyone's beds were in earshot of them?

I think they probably did it silently. or in the water closet if they did it at all anymore. Overrated.
