A-Rod is getting curtain calls. Nothing makes sense anymore.
Hearing Rodriguez talk about how the ovation and the curtain call
made him uncomfortable almost reminded me of Derek Jeter. Of course, I’m
not trying to compare him to the squeaky clean Captain, but the A-Rod
of the past seemed to love when the attention was on him. That probably
led to a lot of his mistakes. But this new, more humble version of A-Rod
comes across as much more likable — whether you think it’s an act or
not.
