Joint over at Salon re: Republicans discrediting the science on climate change but somehow believing "facts"
when it comes to the economy:
It’s a commonplace for Republicans like John Boehner to profess
ignorance regarding climate science, while pretending to know that
“every proposal that has come out of this administration to deal with
climate change involves hurting our economy and killing American jobs.”

Interesting that when it comes to global warming, Republicans can cast
doubt on it by saying "hey, I'm no scientist", and yet have no problem
demanding there is ZERO doubt in their minds that the right thing to do
for the economy is lower taxes on the super-wealthy, without ever
claiming "hey, I'm no economist."
