What effect do these pandemics - The Plague. the Spanish Flu, Coronavirus - have on religion? Does it curtail it ("I prayed to God and he still let my daughter die so fuck him I don't believe in a god anymore") or spur it on ("God is punishing us for something so we need to serve him more")?
