In honor of the 157th anniversary of the Battle of Gettysburg, here’s a song I wrote for me (Pennsylvania) and Cary Hudson (Mississippi) to sing together back in the old days. I’m real proud of it, you know, if for no other reason than because Cary agreed to do it. He is still one of the best I have ever heard/seen...and that ain’t ever gonna change.

The legendary artist/musician Noah Saterstrom played all that haunting penny whistle on the tune. 

And he fucking killed it.
