Had he not been assassinated by a lunatic - thank you, JD Salinger - John Lennon would've been 80 years old today. There's nothing I can say that hasn't already been said, so for right now I'll leave it to someone who he'll be connected to until the Earth collapses into the Sun.
Here's to somebody who really did change the world for the better - and still continues to do so, every day, 40 years after his needless death.
