John Lennon's Aunt Mimi, who raised him, famously uttered the following quote:
"The guitar's all right John, but you'll never make a living out of it".
Of course she was fabulously wrong; the quote is in every single piece of Lennon biography ever put together and is as much a part of the early Beatles legend as anything else in an effort to show what they had to overcome to eventually triumph.
Then I saw the picture below, and it turns out any ideas about her nephew and guitars she may have had weren't even close to being the most wrong she ever was about anything: who taught this woman how to arrange furniture in order to watch the tv? WTF?
