Joe Strummer died 18 years ago today. It's one of the most shocking celebrity deaths for me, party because I worshiped as a god and partly because it was such a shock. He hadn't been sick or even unhealthy, and nobody'd really heard FROM him in years etc. He just sat down on his couch and died at age 50.
An all-time great who will be missed for all time.
