You longtime fans of Xmastime know that Johnny Thunders' You Can't Put Your Arms Around a Memory is an all-time superslice, but I'd never heard this:
The title is derived from an episode of the Honeymooners titled “Better Living Through TV” in which Ralph (Jackie Gleason) says to Alice (Audrey Meadows) “Just remember, you can’t put your arms around a memory.” Her response was a classic put down: “I can’t even put my arms around you.”
