He's the first character onscreen in the opening scene of
Only Fools and Horses and he was only 20 at the time - and looked 12 - so it's hard to believe Nicholas Lyndhurst is 60 freaking years old today. He'll always be that dopey plonker youngster to all of us, I'm sure.
