Joey Ramone, VI

I somehow stumbled onto this as part of a cd in San Antonio in 1991; a collection of songwriters taking about their songs. This is Joey talking about writing the classic I Wanna Be Sedated. 

As a child I remember my mother talking about Elvis, and she always shook her head and slowly declared that no matter what, he always had that voice. That voice. That voice. That voice. 

And that’s how I feel about Joey.
