I really enjoyed the first episode, mildly confusing as the format may be, partly due to the fact that the older I get the more I root for sitcoms that are at least trying something different and ambitious. I wonder if part of this is the Schitt's Creek halo effect - who doesn't love Alexis Rose and want the best for her? Also, I love LOVE love that a show is pointing its sights on the lazy, tired sitcom trope of the dopey child-husband who somehow has a hot wife who dotes on him, which has been around since the dawn of time. Looking forward to watching how far and deep the Annie Murphy's character will go to lift herself out of this miserable life she's found herself in.
