Why is it always "get hit by a bus"? Anytime someone wants to mention the fragility of life they always say, "then again tomorrow I could get hit by a bus." Meanwhile, how many people live anywhere near a bus transportation system? Are most people generally walking in and out of traffic involving buses? Why is it never, "then again tomorrow I could get hit by an SUV on the way to soccer practice"? "Then again, tomorrow I could get hit by a Toyota Tercel"? Isn't that waaaaaaaay more likely?
Let's get it together, people.
