I've always said that there's nothing more boring than Major League ballplayers hit home runs in batting practice, but there's nothing more exciting than watching them throw the ball back and forth to each other. And of course the super-sized version of this is listening to a pitcher warm up in the bullpen; the smacking of the ball into the catchers mitt is. fucking. intoxicating.
