On John Lennon

John Lennon has now been dead longer than he was alive. This doesn't seem horribly cruel, it just is horribly cruel. I can only be grateful that I'm on this side of things and not the other; I get to listen to his songs over and over and over all I want, I get to watch endless video of him being funny, brilliant and grouchy. I get to live in a world that knew him.
