This year's list of What Are People Checking Out at NYC Libraries is out and I literally haven't even heard of any of these books much less read them. I am surprised at the sameness of each list, be it in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx or Staten Island the list is almost the exact same, some version of this:

6. Minor Feelings by Cathy Park Hing
7. The Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides
8. The Four Winds by Kristin Hannah
9. The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by V.E. Schwab
10. Such a Fun Age by Kiley Reid
